Head on over to Griffen Theatre in Salem tonight where Sonorium continues its tradition of showcasing improvised experimental music. This time around, the well crafted lineup is set to include Salem’s own Bereft (not to be confused with the LA-based doom group of the same name) with their blistering blend of industrial and power electronics, Philly-based Wall Wymyn’s hypnotic and bewitching mix of electronics and violin, the exploratory percussion of Boston artist Christopher Strunk (Taps, Conversions, and Vile Bodies), and the found sonic excursions of Noise Nomads out of Western Mass. This is set to be a killer show that fans of experimental music should be sure not to miss. City folks- it’s only a 5 minute walk from the Salem train station, so you have no excuse. Be there.
