This iconaclastic bard is local personality in Jamaica Plain, peddling his affordable musical wares to other aspiring musicians and generally emitting positive vibes. He loves music so much, he spent the entirety of the past summer occupying Centre St with his boisterous one-man show, making quick friends with pedestrians, collaborating with various other music-makers, and generally keeping JP colorful.

Come celebrate this vitalic outsider musician at his record release show TONIGHT at the homely Midway Cafe. Greensteen will be playing tunes from ‘Big Man on the Shelf,’ featuring folk ballads, celestial synth expeditions, honking horn solos and who knows what else. He’ll be joined by many friends, including uplifting psych pop cruisers Pragnus Gray Collective and Utica Crib. So while the white flakes fall, come down and get a whiff of what this hairy homeboy is cooking.
