Brattleboro, Vermont soaks up a lot of the weird, artistic juices flowing out of the Western, Mass area as well as the plentiful inspirational vibes that populate the Green Mountain State. But it also has it’s own distinct flavor, and the folks over at THE FUTURE COLLECTIVE are certainly helping to cultivate said flavor. This group of dedicated volunteers recently opened an arts/music/community space in downtown Brattleboro earlier this year and have been hard at work booking events such as their upcoming FUTURE FEST at the end of August. It’s groups like these that provide the affordable, interesting, and enjoyable artistic experiences that our society so desperately needs.

However, it ain’t easy funding the arts these days, especially when you are committed to the collective format over the corporate model. So THE FUTURE COLLECTIVE is running an online fundraiser for the next 40 days in order to help keep their events accessible to the whole Brattleboro community.
