WHAT! A TRIBUTE TO NOAH BRITTON @ A HAUS IN JP

by

Noah Britton is a tall, lanky individual with a soaring baritone and friendly, idiosycratic demeanor. He also performs heart-aching music under the (ingenious) moniker ACLU Benefit. This Boston-based singer songwriter strums disarmingly direct tunes about missed connections, loneliness, and love of beer. His songs have inspired a generation, and now that generation pays him thanks (and celebrates his birthday) in the form of a tribute show. Happening TONIGHT in the white heart of Jamaica Plain, WHAT! features a gaggle of local musicians covering his soulfully earnest tunes, each with their own stylistic sheen. Word on the street is the man himself will be performing some songs off his brand new tape LOVE/FAME – just released on the goofy sweet BUFU Records. Whether you’re infatuated with this svelte hunk, or you’ve never before heard this hermit crooner, come out and see what all the fuss is about. Life will reward you handsomely.
