Over 20 years in the eclectic sound trade, WEIRDO RECORDS’ corporeal edifice celebrates it’s 5th anniversary tonight over at LILYPAD joined by a horde of fun performers. You’re invited to this freaky frolic too, where you can experience the Pop Italianissimo that is TREDICI BACCI led by SIGNORI LUXARDO (Simon of GUERILLA TOSS). This big-band of 13-14 students and grad’s of NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY is a glorious tongue-in-cheek tribute to Italian Pop of the 60’s and 70’s. PATRICK BRYANT, of WMBR fame, MC’s this evening featuring a boistrous mob of local comedians including the standup of KEN REID and SHAWN ARMISTEAD plus the ensemble cast of THE UNION SQ. ROUND TABLE who contribute regularly to THE BOSTON COMPASS’ comedy section THE TARDY EAGLE. Extreme hi-NRG disco/funk music will be provided by the Reverends Sam & Al (of HOTLINE night @ RIVER GODS) working the turntables.
