Waxahatchee both soothes and ruffles feathers with the piercingly beautiful voice of Katie Crutchfield – bathing you in simple melodies and stinging chords. Northampton’s Potty Mouth make you bob and shake with their fuzzy fast-spinning riffs and grrrl-y attitude. Columbus, Ohio’s All Dogs and Philly’s Cayetan continue the throw-back vibe, but add their own emotive twists The whole show is going to be like the long-lost mixtape your cool older sister would play on all those summer road trips, back when they still made cassette players in cars.
