Last Sunday night the Smokey Bear Cave in Allston was a wonderland of underground sounds. Curated by the demonic duo Hunnie Bunnies, the RAW MEET series is building up to a full fledged festival coming in April of 2012. But the Raw Meetings are festivals in their own right; All 14 bands are squeezed into the time frame of a “normal” show, each playing for 15 minutes. From experimental noise and drone to arranged weird rock and pop, seemless transitions between two stages makes you feel like you are in on something truly special, and it doesn’t hurt that the crowd is literally bursting with good vibes.  We got there in time to catch Laser Poodle (Amsterdam), Skeleton Warrior (Tampa), Unicorn Hard-On (Nashville), Meager Sunlight (Providence), Container(Nashville) and Guerilla Toss. Among other things, RAW MEET 2 showed us that techno is awesome when done by underground noise artists.
