We’re currently working on making a couple different spaces in a couple different neighborhoods happen, but we have no assurances regarding those spaces. We want to know where YOU want us to go!!! Please let us know!
#LetsOpenASpace
Where should we open a spot?
Where do you want us to open our venue???!!!
We are EXTREMELY INTERESTED in knowing what town, neighborhood, or area that our community and audience (YOU!) ideally would like to see our soon to be venue space in??????
We’re focused on and working on making a particular spot happen as we speak, but we are so far from completing the process that anything could happen, so we’re keeping our options OPEN!
PLEASE CHIME IN and let us know where you want to see diverse, experimental, underground events, art, workshops, and other programming happen in Greater Boston!!!
Boston Hassle & BRAIN Arts raise funds in the amount of $22,000+ to put a down payment on our own performance venue & community center via our Gofundme which we kicked off with the Hassle 24 Hour Telethon & Performance Marathon 2017 at the beginning of April!
JP please
Self serving I know, but keep Allston weird
There’s a huge art/music/movement/music community in JP and almost zero venues for us to gather and share…. continuing to fill Allston and Somerville with locations for art events when fewer and fewer adult working artists actually live in those places feels redundant. Also parking/driving/biking/traveling to and through Allston is Murrrderr Help!
I want to second Jared’s comment (whoever he is) – there is a weird lack of venue/practice/open space in JP (and Roslindale!) for the amount of interest, and a Hassle space would be put to so much better use in a neighborhood that isn’t already saturated with spaces. Also, socioeconomically, Allston and Somerville are a lot better off (including city-funding-wise). Make a big difference in JP!
