For close to 4 years now, the cozy lil WEIRDO RECORDS has maintained its bastion of the bizarre on Mass Ave in Cambridge. Each monday, among the endless shelves overflowing with copious musical curiosities, owner Angela Sawyer hosts a wide array of experimental musicians and performers. Tonight she hosts TRIODE, a local electronic trio that conjures deep, glacial drones and cosmic gamma wave grooves from massive modular synths and deteriorating tapes. They got a new tape out on their new label Sticky-shed Syndrome, so come space out with these psychonauts, and maybe pick up a choice record or two as an xmas present for that cool cousin of yours.
