It’s time again for another Treat Yo Self show TONIGHT at Great Scott, so come out and get your weekend started out right. Tonight, Young Adults will throw down the gauntlet with their noisy, heavy, and undeniably catchy shoegaze-punk. And coming at you all the way from Texas is Purple, who take no prisoners with their catchy, hard-partying grungified punk. Joining them are local garage-bopppers Thick Shakes, melting down your resistance to dancing with their hard-driving, organ-drenched grooves. Don’t forget fellow locals Hex Map, whose signature experimental brew is at turns noisy, mysterious, and mesmerizing.
