A new, totally rad show booking collective has sprouted up here in Boston! The DREAMHOUSE Show Booking collective(totally unrelated to the legendary, and seemingly sporadically extant Boston “get under the tarp” freak rock noise band of the same name) features folks from Lorem Ipsum Booksellers and the Pelly Twins blog. This past weekend was their big kickoff, and tonight’s show @ Great Scott is the finale of the kickoff weekend(I like it! Extend every weekend through monday!). THE CRATERS have been peddling their avant-indie pop ’round these parts for quite some time. They have a bunch of new tunes up on their bandcamp(embedded below) that shows them diving headlong into an electro pop direction. NY’s SLOTHBEAR contributes a mellow psych/jangle pop with some guitar screech on the side to the proceedings. Hear what these tunes sound like live at this killer monday night show!!
