TONIGHT (7/27): NIGHT BIRDS, RED DONS, WHITE PAGES, NO SIR I WON’T, FUNERAL CONE @ O’BRIEN’S

by

Head to O’Brien’s TONIGHT to catch this incredible punk lineup. The Night Birds/Red Dons tour has finally made its way to Beantown, and joining them in the proceedings will be some rad local favorites. What more can be said about Night Birds? They are one of the best-loved (and deservedly so) bands in recent punk, and their new LP Born to Die in Surburbia proves that they have somehow gotten even BETTER. Joining them are Red Dons, who are no slouches either. Their post-punk influenced dystopian, and darkly melodic tunes will have you swaying. As for local bands, this show is stacked. Garage-punkers White Pages will show off their speedy, catchy-as-hell bite-size nuggets of rock n’ roll fury. Then are up-and-coming locals No Sir I Won’t, who bring classic anarcho-punk into the 21st century with their just-released (and awesome) debut, The Door. Finally, get ready to get weird with local organ-drenched hell-raisers Funeral Cone, who will have you wondering what the fuck you just saw and why you loved it so much. This will be the night of your life, so don’t miss it.
