Strange Mangers + Horse Jumper of Love (tour kickoff), Steep Leans, Soft Fangs (NYC), Stuck on Planet Earth (CAN) @ Neverland (JP)

by

The boys in Strange Mangers are starting their tour tonight in Jamaica Plain at Neverland with fellow young hunks Horse Jumper of Love. The two bands will tour together for a week, bringing their dreamy, shoegaze-inspired harmony to the friendly ears of those who head out and support local music.

To make this show even more appealing, Boston’s Steep Leans will be playing some mellow garage rock, and ex-Devil and a Penny member John Lutkevich’s Soft Fangs (now out of NYC) spilling out some lo-fi, ‘gazed-out goodness. Ontario Canada’s Stuck on Planet Earth (also starting their own tour) will pick up the pace with all out rock jams. Needless to say, this show is definitely necessary to check out.

Also, don’t forget to click on over to Allston’s Disposable America. The record label is putting out 2012-2013 anthology tapes for Strange Mangers. You can either pick up a copy at the show tomorrow night at Neverland, OR stream at Disposable America’s website!
