Tonight is a celebration of John Lutkevich’s brand new EP release, and some of his good musician friends and label mates are on the bill at Great Scott, presented by Disposable America and Seagreen Records. John Lutkevich, aka Soft Fangs (ex-member of The Devil and a Penny) makes slow burning, reverb rich songs of sorrow and loss. He’s complimented by friends Funeral Advantage, who defly lay down sleepy melodies that twist like so much smoke with the lackadasical sweeping and swooning of Strange Mangers. Lastly Mike Holiday, who helped produce Soft Fangs EP, is playing in tonight’s show as Holiday Music.

The Boston area has a good selection of mellow pop bands, as tonight’s show demonstrates so come on down to Allston and check out Soft Fangs’ new release!
