This is a strange one from Down Under. A snooty university couple is having plumbing trouble(amongst other issues). The plumber dutifully shows up…and then he won’t leave. A battle of wits between the tribal research paper writing wife and the ambiguously aggro plumber ensues, and it’s weird, and uncomfortable, and funny at times. Directed by Peter Weir directly after making “The Last Wave” and before coming to America and becoming far less interesting. One of the better bad plumber movies I’ve seen(how many have I seen?).
