Its primary jumping-off point is the use of sampled African beats and rhythms, but it delves into so many other ideas and genres it would be hard to list them all. If you’re into the aforementioned African sounds and dance beats, you will like this record; if you’re into to jazz fusion-style guitar and electric violin, you will like this record; if you’re into soaring post-rock explorations, you will like this record.
