RECORD HOSPITAL is a standby in the late night radio. This long running experimental show on WHRB 95.3 has kept the city rocking through the wee hours with the sort of non-commercial sounds of the underground, both here and farther off. Each year to celebrate they throw an awesome raucous music fest. Grounded in punk and hardcore, of late they’ve branched off into stranger terrain, incorporating noise rock and experimental pop. Todays lineup reflects this diverse palette: blasting skronk punk of Guerilla Toss and noise demons White Suns and Tinsel Teeth roll gargantuan grooves with adherents of Converge power fisting like Monoliths and Setsuna.
