It’s Monday, and you know what that means – it’s Rad Castle night at ZuZu, and the bill is chock full of fresh local sound! The Dazies will be slingin’ copies of their debut EP – a perfect-for-summer mix of forceful guitar riffs, jangly acoustic strums, fat bass tone, and foot-possessing drum fills – which they’ve cleverly nested in the B sides of old Sam & Dave, Aerosmith, and Billy Idol tapes. Dan Webb & The Spiders (Gunner Records) will be there too; their infectious garage-pop jams are layered with chunky 90s guitar, anthemic drumbeats, and supremely sticky melodic hooks. And Holiday Music are debuting with members of local legends and repetition aficionados Magic Magic/Viva Viva – their shifty syncopation, eclectic percussion, and mesmerizing organ pulses are sure to draw you into your own personal trance. Move your booty over to Central Square and get rad!
