PRIMORDIAL SOUNDS is an excellent weird/psych/Boston area music blog that’s been around for a while now. The PRIMORDIAL SOUNDS night has been kicking it monthly over in Cambridge(@ Middlesex) for a sweet solid year. What they do is simply throw the best monthly night of weird live and DJ’d sounds on either side of the Charles River. Fully BOSTON HASSLE supported all the way these guys have now upped their game. They are now also functioning as a record label! Their first release, The Beat Awful’s People’s Champ Anthology 2005-2011 cassette, is available now, and they have a brand-spanking new pRIMORDIAL sOUNDS Bandcamp page which features their other digital releases. In 2012 they’ll be releasing a 7″ by local favs, mutant psych poppers Fedavees. The Primordial Sounds night will also be having a YEAR ANNIVERSARY show at Middlesex Lounge on Dec. 7th with special guests Headband & Metal Feathers! We’ll be there(we’re even going to play the new BOSTON HASSLE comp to start the night). Hopefully you will be too.
