It’s the first Wednesday of the month – time again for pRIMORDIAL sOUNDS night at Middlesex! TONIGHT these local purveyors of psychedelic grub host a tag team event with two snarling noise rock Boston bands, mixed with a lil’ western mass psych groove spice. JP noize-boize DESIGNER return from their tour to Texas, ready to shake the cage with their unhinged spitfire shit-funk. They switch off with AYKROYD, about to embark on their first tour of the Northeast. We’re proud to have watched this griseled post-punk creature hatch from its spotted weird-pop egg and grow into a monstrous beast of propulsive bass thumps, gnarled guitar licks and pure narc-inspired paranoia. Both bands got new stuff from the inimitable BUFU Records, so get ’em while its hot. Also, up from the left side of Mass is LOCAL GYRO, adding some laid back acid washed alt rock into this jagged, noisey feast of a show. So get out to Central Square tonight for this celebratory soiree with some local ghouls
