Park Slug brings a night of gnarly garage rock weirdness to the Lilypad TONIGHT. You’ll first hear from ROYAL WEDDING. This is the barn-burning band that plays while aliens make crop circles. They have a real knack for getting dissonant without losing track of a song––thanks largely to fast, fun, steady country drums. Then––Z*L (Midriff Records), who play big, fuzzy hooks like they mean it. They also have a laid-back and eerie side that a young David Lynch would tune right into. Finally, with midnight comes GONDOLIERS (also on Midriff)––tight electric freak-outs charged with a raucous energy.
