If you’re still in touch with your childlike sense of wonder Palberta is the only band that matters. This New York trio plays their instruments like they’re freshly unwrapped birthday presents and the resulting jams sound like playground chants recited from failing memory by a crazy cat lady on her deathbed. Though somewhat new they have made waves in New England with their unquestionably original and refreshingly unpretentious approach to songwriting, performance and apparently everything ever. Now they’re heading out on their first tour and it’s a doozy, New Orleans and Nashville just don’t have enough sunblock for this gang but we’ll hope for the best. Joining them for a while is the world’s only noise cock band Designer with a brand new 7″ on BUFU/Community. The rear end of the trip is backed up by our own New England Patriots who are so full of feral aggression you wonder how they still leave room for humor and absurdity.
