The New VHS release on Boston’s ‘Canada Goose Tapes‘ label is 25min of shrimp-like wonder by Whitehaus’ own “Peace, Loving” collaborating with Brooklyn’s “Living Things“. Recorded this past labor day weekend during a residency at the legendary dance and puppet studio ‘Dragon’s Egg’ in Mystic, CT. This video is exactly what you’d want from these two super groups; trailing musical merriment, hilarious and endearing sonic puppets, insanely creative sets, and even a sheep-chimax. This is a really well paced and easy to watch movie. It switches back and forth between wide angle full-group improvs at various tape speeds utilizing bizzare costume/movements, and more close-up story-based puppet worlds, like Mr. Rogers for chill adults, and definitely kids too! Pull up a sleeping bag, pop-it full screen, and grab one of those VHS tapes if you still gotta player (available in very limited run starting KNIGHT HOWLS tour kickoff)
