This week continues in a similar fashion, with Western MA, multi-instrumental r&b experimenter MAL DEVISA coming to town. Her voice is a force to be reckoned with, a soaring, soulful, and above all powerful guide through her intuitive looping process. Bass often provides the foundation for these journeys, forming tightly woven canvases of rhythm and melody over which her voice can paint freely. Her performances are entrancing, with vocal harmonies sometimes piling up to ecstatic levels.
