JETH-ROW RECORDS has gone and unleashed upon America the Danish synth-punk freaks known as TUMOR WARLORD(featuring members of COLA FREAKS and a bunch of other bands). And we are all better for it. Badass in your face punk/metal with a huge knack for hooks and a verifiable wildman on the mic is what you have here. They have a 7″ out on the previously mentioned JETH-ROW called BIO MACHINE. The eponymous “Bio Machine” is awash in frantic guitars, drums and synth and affected vocals. Straight up punk, from a weird angle for sure with a killer synth break. “End of Time” allows a metal feel into the picture and was no doubt created for heads to be banged too. If I dare say it this guys sound a smidge like the earlier incarnations of Boston’s own long dead SCISSORFIGHT, what with their alchemical take on metal, pop, and punk. Those dudes even had a wildman out front too…hmmm… Another TW 7″ is out on KEN ROCK.
