REAL NUMBERS are real deal, true blue rock n roll in 2011 of Minneapolis. They have a new 7″ out on FLORIDA IS DYING, the label that gave us the awesome COP CITY/CHILL PILLARS record from earlier this year. REAL NUMBERS is a power pop band, pulling no punches, and not trying to be cute. The spirit of the JAM is present here. “Tear It In Two” is a short bouncy blast of melodic power pop, and it is listenable to over and over and over again. Note, this is not pop punk, nor will it ever be confused with such. Would like to hear more of this band for sure. East Coast is on fire, north to south.
