Providence’s Jeremy Harris has been Lazy Magnet for quite some time, but he’s no sluggard.   Constantly pushing his own musical boundaries and seamlessly incorporating new elements into his aesthetic, he seems to never play the same set twice.  You just never know what sound is going to end up pulled into the Lazy Magnet orbit… he’s made more than competent use of everything from harsh noise and industrial to minimal wave, house, and even folk.  If you caught him at Raw Meet #3 (at The Smokey Bear Cave), you were treated to a delirious cacophony built out of a Misfits song shredded into barely recognizable loops.  Jeremy is also involved with 2 of Providence’s best dark electronic bands: he’s half of Meager Sunlight with Daryl Seavers and occasionally performs with Daily Life.

You’ve got 2 chances to see this prolific midi-junkie this week:

Tomorrow night (4/19) @ O’Briens: Last Rites VIII w/ The Kolour Kult, Harsh Boys, and Lazy Magnet

This weekend (4/21) @ Raw Meet #5 (Day 1) as Magender
