LISTEN TO BALACLAVAS. They’re from Houston. Their songs are good. Listen to this. Some of it has a bit of a gothy feel to it. Or like a cowboy or something. But mostly it’s post punk. It’s like dark or something. I like the “Lord Bored” song a lot. Sort of sounds like Birthday Party but not at all. Listen to this. They are playing here next week. I googled BALACLAVAS band and came up with some promo pics, mostly them just sitting around and doing nothing, but this one here had them doing nothing by a sign that says sex so that’s cool, right? Here’s a video clip with terrible sound quality of a song that you used to be able to listen to on their bandcamp but they took it off to make way for stuff on their new EP. I like the new EP but I miss that song and I think about it every day.
