The Whitehaus does it what it does best tonight, round up the weirdo all-stars of the East Coast for one giant celebration of the fringes of the musical landscape. Tonight’s show leans heavily on the cream of the Cape Cod crop, with angular rockers The Zookeepers, reverb-drenched tension rockers The Blue Dress, legendary weirdo pop geniuses The Soft White 3-Way, and dark-smart party rockers LA LA Kings all representin’ the pride of the Cape tonight, along with the night’s party-starter, haus DJ Foam – himself a former Cape kid. Lowell shoegazers Empthy Phrases will be bringin’ that nighttime Mass ambience as well. Headlinin’ the night, though, are the Philly out-baroque poppers Laser Background, sure to keep you in awe as they lay out those saccharine-sweet melodies backed by whatever variety of sound they feel like conjuring up on this particular night.
