You know that we here at the Hassle are big proponents of Providence and the twisted-up awesome noise it’s freaks produce. So we felt compelled to let you know that FINISHED and IN HEAT, two of the area’s most ferocious and active bands, are on the road this week spewing their thing all over the map.
Finished is turned-all-the-way-up chaotic and big groove brutality as done by a trio of veteran noise heads – it all makes sense. Be sure to bring your earplugs because while the band themselves will punish every square inch of your present body, their screaming feedback will penetrate your fucking soul if you let it.
In Heat serve up a super thick shake of metal, noise and punk with just a scoop of strange. Their latest record “The Ghost Is Clear” is out now via Boston’s BUFU Records and it’s one sick concoction of power electronics, humungous double bass laden drums and apocalyptic bass shredding so look out for that.
