Boston’s finest, HALLELUJAH THE HILLS (Misra / Discrete Pageantry), are going to give you that loving feeling with bookish folk-rock. They are  gaze-y Americana that sounds like adventure incarnate. The DAZIES are a relatively new acousticy, retro, low-fi brainchild of the Mean Creek drummer. 60’s manic garage rock is what The FAGETTES are all about, complete with shimmery 12-string guitar and pounding stand-up drums. If you loved the “rock” side of the Tony Hawk soundtracks and dig early-80s punk, NICE GUYS are right up your alley with their thick stoner riffs and crunchy attitude.
