Got a holy show for ya at that old standby La Casa Blanca in Jamaica Plain TONIGHT. Hailing from Portland, Maine, the spellbinding driving groove punks Great Western Plain are destined to move bodies with their pulsing basslines, fuzzy guitars and rip-roaring spirit. They’re joined by the simply gorgeous Philly-based folk outfit Bad Braids, headed up by songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Megan Biscieglia. Joining will be the melancholic-midnight-rock JP songstress IAN, the extraterrestrial psych sounds of Los Greys, and Great Western Plain’s fellow Beefheartian maine-iacs RSO. There’s a little something for everyone tonight so don’t be late.
