Emerging from the great electronic tradition of Detroit Rock City are experimental synth-pop grooves of Lord Scrummage. Lord Scrummage is a sub-group of Scrummage University- an art collective that has performed in many a DIY venue in Detroit under such illustrious monikers as Scrummage, Just Boyz, and Bones. Tonight they’re throwing down a delightful melange of trippy beats and textured synth melodies. Joining them tonight are the folk gangsta holy pimpin vibes of Gangsta Love, the SOLID spoken-word poetry of Lewis Morris, and the slammin’ hot rhymes of hip-hop mama Magzilla!
