It’s finally Friday! Give your weekend the wonderfully weird start it deserves TONIGHT at Deep Thoughts JP. Angela and Mark from Weirdo Records are putting their oddball curatorial prowess to excellent use by bringing us a very unique and excitingnoise/comedy/music variety night at Jamaica Plain’s finest record emporium. Performance artist Solace Media Corporation has come all the way from Ohio to join in on the fun this evening, which will also include performances from the wet and wild americana weirdo Cave Bears and Simon Says Smut (as in, Simon from Guerilla Toss reads erotica). Expect some experimental avant-drone/ambient from NYC’s Grasshopper with special guest Ed Bear on baritone sax. Competing against (or complimenting?) all that strange noise are some very funny men and woman ready to tickle out the ha ha’s. Hear some funnies from comedians including Rob Crean, Ryan Douglass, Guitler Raphael, Darik Santos, Ethan Marsh, and Angela from Weirdo Records. If all this sounds like a fine Friday evening to you, that’s because it will be– so get out to Deep Thoughts tonight, and your eyes, ears, and funny bone will thank you.
