Turn right at the second star, and head straight on till morning; that’s the way to Neverland, an oasis nestled deep in the foothills of Jamaica Plain. TONIGHT this fantastical locale plays host to a little inaugural musical fest, featuring a gaggle of music-makers, both Boston-based and further afield. This eclectic affair features, among others, the rolling and rambling weird Americana of holy bard FRANK HURRICANE, the deconstructed western ballads of COWBOY BAND and the oddball garage rock antics of pizza fiend RONNIE NORDAC. South Korea’s G.T. ARPE gets freaky with his fun-loving out-pop alongside the psychedelic VHS noise orgy of LSDV and the anthemic deep fried roots rock of Whitehaus homie CON TEX. There will be local art exhibited and a backyard barbecue, as well as many MANY more great performers of all varieties – so come on down to this all-day affair, sip on this sonic stew, and never grow old again with this motley JP crew.
