Sometimes Christmas does come twice a year. Hot on the heels of Thursday night’s fantastic opening, PAN_ACT Boston will be wrapping up with a fantastic roster of forward-thinking PAN-related noiseniks, once again brought to you by Non-Event. Rashad Becker is primarily known for the amazing work he does at Dubplates & Mastering in Berlin. Tonight he will be presenting “traditional music for a notional species” in a rare live set, hopefully a preview of his upcoming LP. Italian composer Valerio Tricoli works with various analog tape machines and instruments to create complex and beautiful sounds; the collaborative LP Tricoli did with Thomas Ankersmit for PAN is among the label’s finest. London-based Luke Younger goes by the name Helm to compose shifting pieces of textural fog and clatter, precise in it’s ambiguity, as represented on the Impossible Symmetry LP from last year. It all goes down tonight at the Goethe-Insitut, 170 Beacon St – nab them tickets here.

7:30 PM // All Ages // $15 (or $12 with a student ID)
