There’s something really unusual about Desert Sharks. That’s right — they’re an all-shark band! They also write really good raspy-edged surf-punk songs, probably because they’re sharks. You might want to do a few vocal warmups beforehand because it’s hard not to help out with the backing “oooo’s.” Local punk freaks Funeral Cone will be showcasing the three most fun chords there are, and Rotten Apples will be zigging and zagging through their fiddle-studded Americana-rock like a bunch of snake oil salesmen drunk on their product. There may be other guests as well (and if you’re not there you will never know). Hitchhike back to the future tonight at Discovery Zone in Allston.
