Tonight, be there when three of Boston’s swooshiest, loopiest, dreamiest soundscapers float into Allston’s Discovery Zone in triangle formation, just to rain sweet droplets of godly nectar on your waiting head. And why, you ask, are they in triangle formation? Because they are doing a victory lap! Mutual Benefit is hot on the heels of several months out of town, including a tour that took up the last third of April, and Little Spoon (who, as he will proudly tell you, is ALWAYS on tour) has been doing all sorts of stuff with cry guy, his auspicious new duo. But tonight, they return home victorious, joined by their weird-gaze sample-pop brother-in-arms Cuddle Formation. Make laurel wreaths out of neon pipe-cleaners to garland our heroes’ pretty heads and come ready to drift away on a gentle current of dulcet fluffiness.
