A night of local bands, both new and rarely heard awaits in this great Allston space tonight. The Pornettes are the latest creation of a one an only Billy McShane, who’s main dig is Billy’s Boys Live! an eleven piece monstrosity of an ensemble. This will be a more condensed yet no less intense pursuit. Flag Day brings the noisy, freaky pop and plays it real loud. People from Designer are in this band so you know you’ll like it. Candy Truck is a new peculiar trio that wants to provide you tight, primal offerings, only to them let them dissolve into the ether… Nick Neuburg, who also plays drums in the band Aykroyd, is all alone with his thoughts, playing under Social Ladder here, and he promises to not even think about picking up a drumstick. If you want both enticing variety and visceral quality, this is your hang.
