Kick off a week of togetherness and sick music as the TOGETHER FESTIVAL hosts its opening night at the Hayden Planeterium, in the Museum of Science, The TOGETHER FESTIVAL, started in 2010, has become an annual city-wide gathering for EDM enthusiasts, featuring tons of acts, panels, discussions, movie screenings and the Central Square block party, ANOTHER WORLD’S FAIR. This first night includes (among other shows going on around town) a double feature called SPECTACLE: A NEW COSMIC MIX: NOW IN 5D (catchy, no?). This show will attempt to answer questions dealing with the rapid technological growth in the world around us, how our lives are ever-changing due to this growth, how the boundaries that once seperated musical genre can now be so easily traversed with the click of a mouse, and the merits of our new-found technological capabilities. But, if existential and societal philosophy ain’t your thing, stay for some sick sound and video, with acts such as HEXbeam by VELA PHELAM, LOOSE by D’HANA PERRY, BATHAUS, BOBBY ANDRES, and “a video transmission with YASSY GOLDIE” to take you through a tremendous sensory adventure through space and time. With two showtimes on tap, come for one or for both and check out a truly unique gig. At the very least, how many times will you ever get to say, “I went to a show at the Planetarium?”

6:30pm & 8:30pm // All Ages // $15
