And while there are myriad rock shows to thrash along to, you electronic dance heads out there should turn your gaze towards Lower Allston, where mutant house producer OCTO OCTA (100% Silk) shall descend for a steamy night of pulsating house rhythms, warped percussion and succulent bass bounce. He brings in tow a gang of like-minded producers prepared to work the floor with psychedelic swirls of electronic nectar. Providence’s HOWSE (Tri Angle) brings the comfy bedroom bangers, QUAM specializes in ambient ghost hop with noisey accents, Construction Gang drives hard with some minimal insdustrial-tinged techno clatter, Solid State Entity and Solar Pelvis bring the mystery out-beats, and The Range (Astro Nautico) will be around to keep the energy elevated between acts and clean up the with the late night slop of ecstatic juke, kushy beats and hyperdub haze.
