Whitehaus Family Record’s weeklong celebration BLASTFEST 6 wraps up with the 3rd and 4th iteration of CHEAP SEATS tonight and tomorrow at the Cambridge YMCA. This ‘theatrical variety show’ is unlike any concert you’ve yet experienced; performers of all variety – poets, puppeteers, videographers, comedians, soliloquists, weirdos, lighting wizards, and musicians of all genres – are thrown together in a rapid-fire round-robin style, improvising, collaborating and blurring the lines between each other and the audience. The performers are in the audience. The performers are the audience. The audience is the performers. The front row could be anywhere and is everywhere. Expect the unexpected.
