Give your brain a present: TONIGHT Boston punk “crusty” Craig Lewis is speaking at THE WHITEHAUS. Since 1988 Craig has been playing in bands, running Upheaval Fanzine, and booking shows around town. Craig has also struggled with mental illness that has at times wrapped up his life. Currently, Craig works to help others in similar situations, and this evening he’ll be sharing his observations and ideas about the ongoing interplay between mental illness (both personally experienced and socially defined) and punk rock (and the ‘counter-culture’ more generally), and how each informs the other in today’s whitewashed world.
