Dorchester is the place to be TONIGHT as the Howard Art Project celebrates the opening of their latest exhibition Slowness– a group exhibition featuring 17 talented local artists exploring time in the current cultural context. Featured in the exhibition are Kirk Amaral Snow, Erik Benjamins, Jennifer Nichols, Joanna Tam, Jessica Borusky, Diana Clarke, Allison Hale, Leah Craig, Katrina Neumann, Ian Jeffrey, Jordan Tynes, Helena Hsieh, Taylor McVay, Cathy McLaurin, Christopher Thomas Ford, Kimberly Ruth, and Garett Yahn. The Howard Art Project is a shared gallery/project space founded in June of 2011 by 6 members of the School of the Museum of Fine Art community aimed to serve the Boston arts community contributing a unique point of view as well as serving as a meeting place for creative individuals. It is located in Fields Corner at 1486 Dorchester Ave. Slowness will be up through February 3. Come support the Boston arts community!
