Do you like marching bands? Are you into taking to the streets to make your voice heard? Come on out to Davis Square to celebrate the Seventh Honk! Festival! What is all this honking about, you ask? Honk! is a festival of activist street bands that gather together from around the country annually in Davis Square to protest social oppression and celebrate the freedom of musical expression in public spaces. The festival kicks off TODAY at 12:30 in 7 Hills Park behind the Davis Square T stop. Festivities run until 9 and feature performances from more than 30 of the greatest street bands from around the world! A full listing of all the performances can be found on the Honk website.
