MIKE WATT, former bassist of seminal California hardcore punk THE MINUTEMEN is playing in Allston tonight. If you don’t know who the minutemen are, then go look them up on wikipedia right now, stream a couple albums, and educate yourself, jeez. Once that’s done, come see him perform with his new band THE MISSINGMEN. Their latest album, 2010’s Hyphenated-man, off Watt’s label Clenchedwrench, is apparently inspired by the work of Dutch Rennaisance painter Hieronymus Bosch, so thats cool.
