Everyone’s favorite weeklong fest of blasts outshines many of its kind in that it is not even nocturnal. Nope, after sleeping off the folky roar that was last night’s Chillith Bear, Whitehaus Family Record’s BLASTFEST 6 shows its face to the sunlight today with some DAYTIME WORKSHOPS!  To give you some practice for the first ‘shop, here’s a math problem: Woolf Wolf = ½ (Gracious Calamity) = ? The answer is, of course, Kit Wallach, the singer/songwriter/all-over-poet who will be showing off her her day-job schoolteacher chops by teaching Math Class, which begins promptly at 1:00 PM. Following up is Walter Wright, events producer of Lowell’s 119 Gallery and general master of electronics, improv, and curation, who will be sharing some of his vast Knowledge. Even more surprise workshops are waiting in the wings, so sharpen your pencils and head on down to the Whitehaus!
