Lavender Diamond, coming all the way from L.A. makes a visit to Allston tonight. The group has some local ties in drummer Ron Rege Jr., amazing comic artist and ex-member of the great Swirlies on drums, and former Providence artist Becky Stark, who provides the lovely vocals. Brighton Music Hall, located in Allston, is home to the show. Pop with a shimmering almost mystical lounge bent, and an interesting melodic current is on tap for you if you pony the dough.
