Ian Svenonius’ current band, Chain and the Gang, have a real sweet co-Ed rock n roll thing going on. I think you know some of Ian’s other bands, The Make-Up, Nation of Ulysses, yeah. Boston contingent of this show is headed up by those noise poppers of the now, Needy Visions and verbose groovy noise punks SKIMASK. Kit Wallach opens up doing a chill solo thing of her own. Note that the man behind K Records, Calvin Johnson, was supposed to be playing tonight along with Portland indie pop folk band Katie and The Lichens but we just got word that they had some difficulty getting back into the country and that they won’t be making it to the show tonight.
