The TOMOKO OMURA QUARTET performs tonight @ Inman Square’s Ryles Jazz Club. Classical influenced jazz violin like little else going today from this local trained, and lauded performer. Adventurous jazz, on an instrument not overly known for its mark on the genre, and the Boston connection itself are two reasons enough to wander into this jazz club tonight! The performance will feature music from her “Roots” project, exploring folk and popular songs from her native Japan.
